Throughout the years, many ministers have been taught and trained under the leadership of Bishop Ira Combs Jr. As a result of God’s faithfulness, a few have branched out and established other progressive Greater Bible Way Temple ministries throughout the state and country. Among those individuals include:
Suffragan Bishop Timothy & First Lady Sandra Johnson
Greater Bible Way Temple (GBWT) of Montgomery, AL
Suffragan Bishop Timothy O. Johnson, Sr. a native of Jackson, MI, was a member of GBWT in Michigan under the leadership of Suffragan Bishop Ira Combs where he served faithfully for 14 years. In late 1994 he was sent to Montgomery, AL in accordance to Acts 13:4. On February 5, 1995, GBWT of Montgomery held its first service. Since that time the Lord has tremendously blessed; not only has Pastor Johnson established the church in Montgomery, but he also pioneered churches in Evergreen and Clanton, Alabama.
