At Arbor Manor I conducted a Chapel service for 5 residents. I visited with the residents, encouraged them in the word of God (Hebrews 11:1, 6; Matthew 9:10-13, 18-22; John 14:15-27; John 16:7-9, 33) and prayed blessings over their lives. The scriptures dealt with receiving comfort through our faith in Jesus Christ. I prayed for the following:
• Strength and healing for the residents
• Joy for the residents
• Residents’ children, grandchildren and friends
Everyone really appreciated my time and prayers. Glory to God!
At Fairfax Manor I conducted 2 Chapel services, one for each part of the building. I ministered to a total of 16 residents. I encouraged them in the word of God (Hebrews 6:1-2; 2 Corinthians 7:9-11; Acts 2:38; 2 Peter 3:9) and prayed blessings over their lives. The scriptures dealt with receiving repentance through Jesus Christ. I prayed for the following:
• Residents’ family members
• A resident in their time of bereavement
• Joy for the residents
• A staff member and her family
• Residents to have strength and healing in their body.
Everyone really appreciated my time and prayers. Glory to God!
Week II
Report for 6/22/11 at Arbor Manor in Spring Arbor, MI and 6/25/11 for Fairfax Manor in Ypsilanti, MI.
Due to transportation difficulties I was not able to conduct the Chapel service. However I did call the facility and let them know I was not going to be able to make it.
At Fairfax Manor I conducted 2 Chapel services, one for each part of the building. I ministered to a total of 17 residents. I visited with the residents, encouraged them in the word of God (Mark 8:22-25; Mark 10: 46-52; Luke 7:2-10, 12-16, 21-22) and prayed blessings over their lives. The scriptures dealt with Jesus healing people that were sick. I prayed for the following:
• Residents’ family members
• Healing for a resident’s arthritis
• Peace and prosperity across the nation
• Joy for the residents
• Healing for a resident’s stomach problem
• Residents to have strength and healing in their body.
