Associate Pastor Greg Crump:
Week I
Report for 7/27/11 at Arbor Manor in Spring Arbor, MI and 7/30/11 for Fairfax Manor in
Ypsilanti, MI.
At Arbor Manor Elder Crump conducted a Chapel service for 12 residents and 1 staff member.
Elder Crump visited with the residents, encouraged them in the word of God (Psalm 46:1; Psalm
62:5-8), read an excerpt from the Streams in the Desert devotional (June 12) and prayed
blessings over their lives. The scriptures and devotional dealt with how God is our refuge. Elder
Crump prayed for the following:
• Strength and healing in their body
• A resident’s family member serving in Afghanistan
• Joy and peace for the residents
• Healing for a resident’s family member who recently had surgery
• Residents’ children, grandchildren and friends
Everyone expressed their gratitude and appreciation for my time and prayers. Glory to God!
At Fairfax Manor Elder Crump conducted 2 Chapel services, one for each part of the building.
Elder Crump ministered to a total of 16 residents and 4 staff members. Elder Crump visited with
the residents, encouraged them in the word of God (Psalm 46:1; Psalm 62:5-8), read an excerpt
from the Streams in the Desert devotional (June 12) and prayed blessings over their lives. The

Week II
Report for 8/3/11 at Arbor Manor in Spring Arbor, MI and 8/6/11 for Fairfax Manor in Ypsilanti,
MI.
At Arbor Manor the Chapel service was cancelled by the Activities Director because they had an
ice cream social already scheduled during that time.
At Fairfax Manor Elder Crump conducted 2 Chapel services, one for each part of the building.
Elder Crump ministered to a total of 17 residents and 4 staff members. One resident was not
able to come to the service so Elder Crump prayed for her in her room as one of the staff had
requested. Elder Crump also purchased a KJV bible for one of the residents that needed one.
Elder Crump visited with the residents, encouraged them in the word of God (Nehemiah 9:19-21;
Psalm 3:5; Psalm 55:22) and prayed blessings over their lives. The scriptures dealt with looking
to God to sustain us. Elder Crump prayed for the following:
• Residents’ family members
• One of the residents that was very sick
• Peace and joy for the residents
• Strength and healing in their body
Everyone expressed their gratitude and appreciation for my time and prayers. Glory to God!
Elder Allen
Week I
Heartland Allen Park- Services went extremely well, there were 18 residents and 2 staff in
attendance for Chaplain Ministry. Service began with Praise and Worship led by Sister Allen,
followed by prayer and the Word of God delivered by Elder Allen. Elder Allen ministered from
the subject matter, “Who am I listening to”. Before service concluded Elder Allen reminded all
the residents and staff that he is always available for prayer and to minister whenever needed.
Tendercare Taylor- Service went extremely well more than 20 residents and 2 staff was in
attendance for Chaplain Service. Service began with Praise and Worship led by Sister Allen,
followed by prayer and the Word of God delivered by Elder Allen. Once again Elder Allen
ministered from the subject matter, “Who am I listening to”. Several of the residents explained
that the message really ministered to their souls and that they were so thankful that the ministry
has been faithful.
Westland Fidelis Home- Services were rescheduled at the family request due to a family
emergency.
Imperial Manner- Residents were unable to attend service due to transportation difficulties.
Week II
Heartland Allen Park- Services went extremely well, there were 13 residents and 1 staff in
attendance. Service began with Praise and Worship led by Sister Allen followed by prayer and
the Word of God by Elder Allen. Elder Allen ministered from the subject matter, “I will show
my love through obedience”. Elder Allen drew from the OT and the NT to paint a picture of
how important it is to be obedient to the will of God. All who were present enjoyed service and
expressed that they are looking forward to next week. Praise God
Tendercare Taylor- Services went extremely well, there were more than 22 residents and 4 staff
was in attendance for service. Service began with Praise and Worship first led by a staff member
and then followed by Sister Allen. The residents really enjoyed that one of the supervisors sang
the songs of Zion. After a terrific praise and worship service Elder Allen followed with prayer
and the Word of God. Elder Allen ministered from the subject matter, “I will show my love
through obedience”. Elder Allen drew from the OT and the NT to paint a picture of how
important it is to be obedient to the will of God. At the conclusion of services, the assistant
activity director confirmed that she will be accompanying two residents to church service in two
weeks so that they may be baptized. Praise God!!!
Westland Allen Park- Bible Study was a very big success. Fidelis family of three and 1 guest
was in attendance for service. Elder Allen ministered out of the book of Joshua, Judges,
Matthew, and Romans. At the conclusion of the services the family expressed to Elder Allen that
the guest in attendance had just lost her child in a tragic ordeal. The guest began to confide in
Elder Allen, an express her anger and hurt. Elder Allen ministered for an additional 45 minutes
and concluded with prayer. After service the young lady explained that she would like to come to
church and build a better relationship with God.
Imperial Manner- Several residents attended service at the Greater Bible Way Temple Sunday
morning. Bro. Leonard (Transportation Personnel) from the church has taken the time to be
present at the facility during the week to ensure that there is a seamless relationship between staff
and residents as it pertains to the residents attending church services.
Pastor Jones:
Week I
Utica site- Services went very well. Pastor Jones expressed that there were more than 30
residents and 3 staff in attendance for service. All who were in attendance was excited about
service and enjoyed praising God as Pastor Jones led services in Praise and Worship.
Ambassador- Services went well more than 28 residents and 3 staff was in attendance for
service. Pastor Jones explained that after she ministered a resident got up from his wheel and
began to praise God and testify. The residents explained to the staff and residents that Pastor
Jones have preached the truth and that he is ready to give his life to the Lord. Pastor Jones is
awaiting permission to baptize the resident.
St. Joseph- Services went well more than 30 residents, 2 directors, and 3 C.N.A’s were in
attendance for service. Pastor Jones sister and out of town family assisted her in ministering.
Service began with 3 people and quickly grew to over 30 in a matter of minutes. Pastor Jones
explained that residents were pouring in to hear the songs of Zion. 1 resident became so
overwhelmed that they expressed the desire to go to church outside of the facility. Pastor Jones
reports that the resident was baptized Sunday during church service.
East Grand- Residents from this site has requested that Pastor Jones continue services.
Administrative staff tracked Pastor Jones down to explain that an overwhelming number of
residents and staff has requested that she return and be the official chaplain for this site
American House Allen Park- Likewise to the East Grand site, residents from this site has
requested that Pastor Jones continue services. Administrative staff tracked Pastor Jones down to
explain that an overwhelming number of residents and staff has requested that she return and be
the official chaplain for this site
Week II
Utica site- Services were great! Pastor Jones expressed that more than 35 residents, 5 staff and 2
family members were present for service. Pastor Jones ministered from the 3rd chapter of
Proverbs. Everyone that was present really enjoyed the service. Family members who were
present expressed to the staff that services really went nice and that they were glad they took
part.
Ambassador- Services went well more than 25 residents and 3 staff was in attendance for
service. Pastor Jones continues to be very excited regarding residents openness to the scriptures
and chaplain services. Pastor Jones expressed that several more residents have expressed a
interest in being baptized and have all requested such from the facility’s staff. Pastor Jones,
explained that she is waiting and trying to be a support to the staff, as they are not accustom to
residents wanting to be baptized.
St. Joseph- Services went well more than 13 residents, 1 director, and 4 C.N.A’s were in
attendance for service. Pastor Jones expressed that even though attendance was low she felt the
Spirit of God moving in the service. At the conclusion of service Pastor Jones expressed that 1
residents explained that they want to be baptized and renew their relationship with God .
Boulevard Rehab Rehabilitation Site- This was the 1st visitation at this site. Pastor Jones
explained that more than 25 residents, 3 C.N.A’s, and the director of activities were in
attendance. At the conclusion of service 5 residents expressed that they would like to renew their
relationship with God. The administrator is already working on providing transportation to assist
in transporting residents to church service so that they may exercise their religious beliefs.
Sis Lou Ann Stewart
Week 1
Mt. Vernon Home-Evangelist Stewart reports that services are still very successful at the Mt
Vernon Home. Evangelist Stewart also continues to use Praise and Worship to keep the residents
encouraged.
