Chaplain Report-Out (8/8- 8/22)

AP Crump Week I

At Fairfax Manor I conducted 2 Chapel services, one for each part of the building. I ministered
to a total of 18 residents. I visited with the residents, encouraged them in the word of God
(Matthew 13:1-9, 18-23; Luke 8:11-15) and prayed blessings over their lives. The scriptures
dealt with the fact that we need to hear the word of God and do what it says in order for God to
get the productivity out of our lives that He desires. I prayed for the following:

• Residents’ family members
• Joy for the residents
• A resident to have peace in their time of bereavement
• Residents to have strength and healing in their body.

Everyone really appreciated my time and prayers. Glory to God!

At Jackson County Medical Care Facility I conducted a Chapel service for a total of 12 residents.
I also attempted to visit with 2 other residents that were not able to make the service but they
were sleeping so I prayed blessings for them outside their room. I visited with the residents,
encouraged them in the word of God (Matthew 13:1-9, 18-23; Luke 8:11-15) and prayed
blessings over their lives. The scriptures dealt with the fact that we need to hear the word of God
and do what it says in order for God to get the productivity out of our lives that He desires. I
prayed for the following:

• Strength and healing for the residents

Evangelist Lou Ann Stewart

Week I

The Mt. Vernon visit on last Wednesday (8/10) had 7 people in attendance. (5 female/2 male)
I spoke about the importance of 'worshiping' and 'praising' God. I explained to them the
difference in the two. The conversation led to recognizing the 'who' of God and the 'why' He
sacrificed His son Jesus. I asked questions regarding what was taught to see the comprehension
level, and they answered well, with a little help from the teacher. I find most of them don't
remember too well.

I finalized the class with how we should be prepared for His coming and ended in prayer for
repentance. The interaction from the group went well.
